Recappin’ 2-Oh-Oh-Se7en

i’m just publishing this for fun.

it was an unfinished entry I did at the beginning this year.

it’s just too long and I’m too lazyto finish it up LOL.

But it’s still pretty long!!!

So read it if you want, won’t guarantee it’s interesting :P

2007.

The Year that completely changed my life.

It was a very crazy roller coaster ride I would say.

Fast paced with lotsa twist and turns.

Mistakes done and over and some still haunts.

Nonetheless, taught me a great deal and I’d say …

I’ve matured One Year more ;)

Let’s see, I’m gonna go thru the Blackouts of my 2007 first.

Don’t blame me, bad news is always more Interesting right?

Well here goes!

1. Flew all the WAY to Canada to continue my Education at the University of Alberta.

2. As glamorous as it sounds, I never did so HORRIBLE in school until I stepped into this university. Yeps, I was a strugglin’ student and probably still is.

3. And that made me decided to changed my major of doing Nutrition and Food to a business degree which I believe I am more suitable of. I hate Sciences. With a Passion.

4. Gained weights. Like heaps of it. Try livin’ in Canada for 4 months and trust me, I’ve gained close to 10 kgs. IT’s the WINTER I tell you!

5. Was thinking of putting experiencing my First Snow and Winter as my Hi-light but hmm, then again, it’s not exactly the best season to experience and trust me, -20C is no joke at all. Heck, I even experienced a Blizzard and damn, am I NOT looking forward to it again. MY jeans even freeze up and I’m not kidding.

6. And on top of the list, Made the worst mistake of my life and damn, I’m still regretting it til now. Wish I could erase that 6 months period of my life. Well, if you’re curious, it has something to do with my relationship issue. I’m sure some of you are aware of that ;) I even lost friends cause of that.

Well, those are the Blackouts I had in 2007.

Lotsa lessons were learned after everythin that happened.

Especially number 6.

I’ve learned that I DO NOT want to commit myself into a relationship ever until I truly know that person.

Heck, I don’t even want any relationship right now. I’m enjoying myself! Being free like a Bird. Without a Cage of course ;)

Now let’s take a look on the Hi-Lights of my 2007

I’m gonna warn ya, it’s a very very long list :P

Here goes!

1. I went back to Malaysia during the Summer. And man, that was the BEST thing that EVER happened to me!

2. Had the GREATEST time with my Family *love love* and also Friends.


Thanks to my Daddy and Mommy, I had the best times of my life Back Home. You know it’s true that you’ll never appreciate home until you left it. Being in Canada made me realized that my Family is very important to me and the support they gave is incomparable with anyone else’s.


This is my Uncle who lives in New York. Works as a Chef and so ngam last year, he decided to come back to Malaysia since the last time he went back which was 5 years ago. He became my Lepak partner as well as Cam Whore partner as you can see ;)


Believe it or not, this is also my Uncle. Hahaha! I’m serious! He’s one year older than me. We only hung out once when I went back to Malaysia cause our timings always off. Even though he’s my Uncle, he’s like a brother to me :) Like a real brother …


This was probably the last time that the Doido’s will ever hang out anymore for many years to come.


Each of us are scattered at different continents. And to make things even harder, all of our holidays are at different times! When will us Doidos will reunite again?! Please let it be before someone’s wedding okay ALIA? :P


Went Pak-Toh’ing with the Famous Beng at Bukit Tinggi. Thanks for taking me there :)

I told him that if I went back to Malaysia last year, he’ll get me a Bunny.

And yea he did, he got me tons of bunnies to SEE and not take home :P

At the end of the day …


I got scratched by this stupid Bunny so badly that I hate them now!


Got Fui Sze drunk on her Birthday at the Loft :P She was all over the floor at the end of the night ;)


Finally met Denesh officially thru Navvii :P Apparently we met each other like 6 years ago at some Interact Conference but never said Hi :P He became my Shufflin’ Sifu, Maison Kaki and an Almost Darling ;) Until now, he’s the only person that calls me sometimes in Canada :)


Met Didi during the Asia Entrepreneur Job thing and became such good kaki lepaks!


As well as Aaron my Macha!


And Hakam the Singaporean Malay :P


Didi and Hakam brought me out for my first Wall Climbing and I caught Hakam wipin’ out on Camera. The most classy photo ever ;)


Met John Wu at Genting Highlands during the MICE job in July. Fyi, he was from New York and he was at Genting with his family to celebrate his mom’s birthday. I’d say … they have very good connections with the Big Big people in Genting that they were staying at the Penthouse Suite of Highland Hotel. We’ve been keeping in touch since he went back to New York and until he visited me at Edmonton in September :) If it wasn’t because of him, I wouldn’t have been such an avid fan of dancing now. He introduced Reggaeton and Wine’ing to me and made sure that I did it properly over our webcam sessions eh :P He’s now in Taiwan pursuing his music career there. So don’t be surprised! In few years to come, he may be some famous artist there and guess what, MeiQ knows him! Hahahhaa!

Going Bonkers

Yes I am goin crazy, depressed, demotivated and at the brink of suicidal.

Well,  my mind is definitely facing all that now.

Yes, the telemarketing one.

OMG why in the world did I do this freaking job!?!!

oh yeah.

I forgot.

the Pay is INSANELY good, that’s why.

I’m actually at work now on my lunch break.

Sigh,

another 10 minutes before I face faceless yelling people on the phone.

It sucks okaaayyyy ….. to be rejected, cursed, yelled, slammed down on ….

WHY oh WHY am I doing this to MYSELF?!!!!!1

Oh yeah,

cause of the MooooLAAAAHHHHHH.

Die.

My life is so sucky now.

Work day and night.

No life.

No time.

and I’m not even CLUBBING cause I freaking work on weekends at 7am!!

Yes, 7 in the MORNING.

I’m sucha loser,

but i will be a rich loser bah!

Back to work.

ARGH!

My Double OH-Pinks!

Sorry for the lack of updates.

I’ve been so BUSY that it’s CRAZY INSANE!

First of all,

I got a new job,

That requires me to work from 830 am - 5 pm.

Then in the evening sometimes,

I need to work at the hospital from 615pm - 945pm.

Once I get home, I just wanna crawl in my bed and not do anything else!

The day job is not physically demanding at all.

But definitely drains alot of saliva and mental strength.

It involves lotsa talking on the phone.

7 hours minimum.

Hahaha … yeah, I sell stuff on the phone.

To be exact, I sell ads on the phone and hence I call numbers on Yellow Pages to try and pitch them.

And yes, I am a telemarketer.

UN fortunately :P

It’s a job not for everyone obviously.

Most people quit after a week of working there.

Some even days cause they can’t handle the pressure.

Plus, getting rejected from 100 people a day isn’t very nice.

It’s a big blow to self esteem okayyy …

Sure you do get some nice people here and there but most of them would just hang up on you.

Face it,

everybody hates telemarketers.

Especially me but now I’m one LOL.

So why am I doing this?

for the $$$ of course!

Pays damn well okay!!

WAAAAAAAAY ABOVE Minimum wage but of course, I am not to reveal the rates here cause it’s private :P

But I make enough for sure :)

Will be doing this until school starts in September.

Wouldn’t say I love my job but I’m surviving … today’s my 3rd day.

Let’s see how long I can last :P

Plus,

I get to practice my KANADIAN accent puiiih :P

Anyways,

Enough of my job.

I think people are just gonna get sick of seeing pink on my page Hahahahaha :P

Anyways,

I got the camera for a really good deal, i think :P

Including the  4 gb worth of Memory Card,

It was CAD$299.92.

Still below RM 1K eh?

I dunno how much is it selling in Malaysia though.

Can someone please tell me?

Hopefully it’s not cheaper :P

if not I will jump off my roof.

Just kidding :P

Btw,

I have lotsa lotsa stuff to update but I’m so freaking tired OMG.

After this I’m just gonna take a short nap before I do some administration stuff :P

Come in sometime cause I’ll be updating on some really interesting stuff.

It will be cool cause it’s gonna involve ….
